Our Personal Experience With The Real Estate "Experts".
Unlike other agents, some of which you will surely hear from
very soon, we have been in your position. And this was
before we started our real estate business. Looking back to
that time, the real estate agent that our attorney
recommended did little more than trot his investor friends
and broker friends through our house looking us over before
the Sheriff sale to see if we were worth their bid. In over
six months our agent did not bring one couple in to look at
our house, just investors and other brokers “previewing” our
property.
We were very reluctant to service this market because of our
own horrendous experience. However, after speaking with two
former homeowners who lost their homes because the “experts”
dropped the ball, we felt compelled to do what we can do to
help others who find themselves in similar circumstances
that we ourselves experienced.
The fact of the matter is there are no “experts” when it
comes to these situations. Every circumstance is different;
every bank or mortgage company has different requirements.
With such a diversity of circumstances and companies it is
impossible to be an “expert”. Another fact is most of these
“experts” only close 1 in 10 short sale properties. That
leaves 9 homeowners out in the cold.
